Sports Physical Night Sign Up - Wednesday, May 7
Sports Physicals for 25/26 School Year – New Format for Sports Physical Night! If your student is interested in participating in athletics at Unity next school year, Shoreline Orthopedics Hudsonville Office (3509 Kelly Street) is hosting a Sports Physical Night on Wednesday, May 7 for Unity Christian student athletes. NEW THIS YEAR: In order to get a sports physical students will need to sign up for an appointment time slot; students will not just walk in throughout the evening as we have done in the past. To sign up for a time slot, go to this SignUp Genius link. Please note: Students should arrive 5 minutes prior to the start of their time slot. The 15-minute time slot they sign up for is a general appointment time and they may not be done with their physical by the end of their time slot. 2025 Youth Football for Grades 3 - 8
Registration for Unity Christian Youth Football is now open! We will again have 3rd/4th grade teams, 5th/6th grade teams, two 7th grade teams, and an 8th grade team. Practices will begin on August 11 for 3rd – 6th grades and August 18 for 7th & 8th. You will find an information sheet available below to download where you can find more details on the program. If you have a 7th or 8th grade player, please note that a sports physical is required before the first practice. You can find more information about sports physicals in the attached document as well. To plan accurately for the number of teams we will have in the fall, we ask that you register your player by June 1. Unity Christian is pleased to offer a Middle School Bowling team for boys and girls in grades 6 - 8. This program will run after school on Mondays and Wednesdays from March 3 – 26, and will consist of instruction and skill building, intra-squad matches, and a match formatted like high school with individual and baker games. It will be held at Hudsonville Lanes, and all experience levels are welcome! The cost to participate is $85, and the deadline to register is February 26. Girls Varsity SoftballOn Friday night, Unity Christian Varsity Softball travelled to the #6 Ranked Division 1 Grand Haven Buccaneers. Unity was able to come home with a 3-1 hard fought victory. Makenzie Cammenga was again stellar in the circle, lasting 7 inninngs and only giving up 1 run and recorded 6 K's. Grand Haven also was stellar in the circle, but the Crusaders were able to push across 2 runs in the top of the 7th and hold the powerful Grand Haven team in the bottom of the 7th to record their 2nd victory on the short season. Ella Davison led the team with 2 hits. Unity will next be in action on Tuesday, April 1st at Grandville.

Makenna Bareman and Trista Goorhouse each collected 2 hits, and they both also went deep in the contest to record their 1st HR's on the season.
